I have the honour to acknowledge

the receipt of your despatch No.64 of the

17th of March, transmitting copy of a

corres ondence between Messrs Jardine,

Matheson and Company, and the Government of

Hong Kong on the subject of Contract Eui-

gration to Sumatra.
